Niles has spent his professional and personal life working for and alongside those at the margins of society – the addicted, the homeless, people living with HIV/AIDS and others forced to the fringes. His professional experiences include addictions counselor, recovery center manager, trainer/educator, community development specialists, entrepreneur, and Internet CEO. Niles has spent over 30 years working in the areas of addiction treatment and recovery, HIV/AIDS, community development, the nonprofit world and as a social entrepreneur.
Niles holds a B.A. from Norwich University in Vermont and an M.A. in Social Impact from Claremont Lincoln University. Currently, he is working on a master’s in psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is trained in addictions counseling and as a peer recovery specialist. Niles is also a person in long-term recovery from addiction.
